Bipasha Basu is an Indian actress who appeared primarily in Bollywood movies. A former model, she was the winner of the Ford Super Model competition Cinthol Godrej in 1996.
Personal life
Basu was born January 7, 1979. New Delhi to a Hindu family in Bengal. She has an older sister Bidisha and younger - Vijayeta. Although born in New Delhi, his family moved to Calcutta.

In 2006, Basu claimed to have been molested by some of the organizers of the India Day Parade in Edison, New Jersey. Basu was to lead the parade August 13, 2006. Eventually he appeared on stage late, according to him, because of harassment. He said: "I wanted to participate in the parade, but I could not." He explained that he was harassed physically and mentally in the car by two people, who led the parade.
In 2005 and 2007, named the British magazine Eastern Eye Basu the "Sexiest Woman in Asia".
