Ajay (Mahesh Babu) is the son of former MP Shankar Narayana (Prakash Raj), who is in a coma for fourteen years after he met a fatal accident. Shankar wants to see his son as a politician, serving the poor, but Ajay is a cop who hunts a mobster named Don Nayak (Sonu Sood).
