Alicia Keys







                                         Alicia Augello Cook (p. 25 Jan. 1981), better known by his stage name of Alicia Keys is a singer, musician and actress. He was raised by a single mother in the Hell's Kitchen in Manhattan, New York. At the age of seven keys started playing classical piano. He participated in the Professional Performing Arts School and graduated as the maximum of 16 votes. Subsequently, he attended Columbia University before leaving to continue his musical career. Keys released her debut album on J Records, which had the previous record first deals with Columbia and later Arista Records.

Keys is co-founder and global ambassador of Keep a Child Alive, a nonprofit organization that provides medicine to families with HIV and AIDS in Africa. Keys and U2 lead singer Bono recorded a cover of Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush "Do not give up" in recognition of World AIDS Day of the 2005th Keys and Bono's version of the song was renamed "Give Up (Africa) "to reflect the nature of charity, it was good. She has visited African countries such as Uganda, Kenya and South Africa to promote care for children affected by AIDS. His work in Africa has been documented in the documentary Alicia in Africa: Journey to the motherland, and was available in April 2008.
